Plug in the cable!

I was called out to a customer this morning after carpet fitters had installed a new flooring to his office, he informed me they had re-inserted all the cables exactly as when they unplugged the system. On arrival I viewed the Desktop tower PC which lives under his desk, all lights on and flashing as I would expect, so I dived under the desk to find the monitor cable unplugged!
When asked “did you check the cables before calling me?” the reply was “No”! Of course why would you check the cables????

Multi Monitor Setup

After helping a client today with a multi monitor setup it was nice to receive an email this evening stating how happy she is and how its helping her complete her work. Although the modem has had to be repositioned which the cat isn’t too happy about, quite often found soaking up the heat!

Dell 2310 All in One PC RAM upgrade

Upgraded the RAM in my Dell 2310 All in One PC yesterday, 2 screws to release the back plate and 1 further screw to release the RAM cover, how easy! A world apart from the Sony All in One I had to open last week, much like a laptop, 40 screws removed and still no clue to get inside????

4gb replaced with 8gb RAM, running smoothly, and now 4gb DDR3 SODIMM RAM available for a laptop upgrade £25 fitted.

I have a spare 8gb DDR3 1333 10600 (2x4gb) Dimm for desktop PC’s sat on my desk, I ordered DIMM instead of SODIMM by mistake (I await the dimm jokes!).
The memory is Crucial, If you’d like an upgrade price is £45 installed, please let me know?
