Two new program updates

If you have a Norton IS subscription head over to the Norton accounts page where you can download the update checker, the small download runs a scan for all Norton products installed on your PC and then offers the relevant updates to download, free of charge. You can also use this to update Norton 360, with the current version 4.0.
Our recommended backup & and disaster recovery software Acronis has also just received the annual update to True Image Home 2011 with improved Windows 7 integration and continuous backup.
Forthcoming update news for Avast antivirus customers, version 5.1 will be installed through the standard automatic update process bringing with it improved malware detection, this update will be available across the range of products including the free version.
