It’s time to check everything’s up to date once again.
Java – updated to Version 6 update 20, not sure which version you have? Head to Control Panel, Click the Java icon to open then click the About button, your current version is listed here.
Adobe Reader – updated to version 9.3.2, not sure which version you have? Open Adobe Reader, Click Help on the toolbar, then click “About Adobe Reader 9″, your current version is listed here.
Skype – updated to version 4.2.0.166, not sure which version you have? Open Skype, click Help on the toolbar, then click “About Skype”, your current version is listed here.
Skype can also be downloaded on your Windows Phone, Nokia & iPhone and even your iPod Touch turning it into a phone! You can also buy Skype phones which work independently to your PC making Skype a cost effective and versatile telephone platform.
Tweetdeck – updated to version 0.33.4, not sure which version you have? Open Tweetdeck, look in the top left hand corner, your current version is listed here.
What’s tweetdeck? The ultimate tool for social networking, keep up to date with Twitter, Facebook, Myspace & LinkdIn all in one browser with multiple columns. Tweetdeck is now available on iPhone & iPad.
iTunes – updated to version 9.1.1.12, not sure which version you have? Open iTunes, click Help on the toolbar, then click “About iTunes”, your current version is listed here, or Click Start, then All Programs, click to open Apple Software Update, this will launch the Apple automatic update checking program and will also offer additional software such as Safari – Apple’s browser competing with IE8 and Google Chrome. iTunes also includes Quicktime, Apple’s media player.
Allway Sync – updated to version 10.3.8, not sure which version you have? Click Help on the toolbar, then click “New Version Check”, this will open your internet browser and inform you if an update is available with a download button if available.
Allway Sync is a great tool for synchronising files & folders between PC’s, network folders and even internet folders.
