Cheap cloning

I read an article this week which highlighted all the new features in Windows 7 and then challenged the upgrade by providing add-on programs to give XP or Vista the same features. Although the article had some interesting points there were some rather stupid entries as well! Upgrading for improved web browsing with Internet Explorer 8? IE8 is available as a standard Windows Update to both XP and Vista, it then said try another browser?? Again you can do that with any operating system! The list went on and on….

I’ve had this post in draft for a while and again I’ve come across another article, this time turning Linux into a Windows 7 clone, unfortunately the screen shots proved that they didn’t do a good job! However looking around on the internet threw up some more impressive results:

The underlying thought to this story is “If you’d like to have Windows 7, then don’t be cheap! Buy Windows 7, its great, you won’t regret it, I promise :)
