Upgrade XP to Vista
If you’ve read the previous post about downloading Microsoft Office and the great savings to be made then I’m sure you’ll be interested to hear that the same website is also offering Windows Vista upgrades for download at great reduced prices.
Now alot of the systems I have sold on the run up to christmas have been basic systems which haven’t qualified within the vista upgrade program. Looking at the boxed packages, which has brought attention within the media, the prices are quite high, even the upgrade disc from XP to Vista Basic costing £75 at the cheapest online retailers.
Half that price and take the digital download option, its a great upgrade for a basic system and the great prices are also reflected in the other versions, Home Premium, Business & Ultimate, although I’d recommend home users stick to the Vista home versions unless your going to connect remotely to your business network.
Please contact me for a quote if you’d like to purchase an upgrade, which can also be added to a new master recovery should your system ever crash.
I was very skeptical about using Vista straight after launch but now having both my machines running Vista and supplying a few machines with Vista pre installed I would highly recommend it. Just be careful if you have older software as compatibility could be an issue. I’ll be happy to research this for you.
