Why do I need an upgrade?
Is your PC running slow? In need of a memory or processor upgrade. Maybe you’d like to add new hardware to connect your camcorder, watch or record Blu Ray discs, or you’d like to try new software for music, video or photo editing or try a spot of gaming? We’ll help you choose the right upgrade.
The most common upgrades are:
- Software – Upgrading to your operating system. With Windows 7 released in October 2009 you may consider upgrading from Windows XP or Vista. The new operating system is faster and easier to use, the best Windows yet! Look at our pricing below.
You may want to upgrade your software packages such as Microsoft Office, the latest version is 2010, brand new in June 2010. - Hardware – The most common upgrade is memory, the cheapest upgrade to achieve the most performance, there’s DDR, DDR2 and now DDR3 memory, we’re happy to inspect your PC and advise you on the right memory upgrade.
You may also require adding performance in other areas, a new processor, graphics card, DVD or Blu Ray disc drive, or a peripheral – printer, scanner or webcam.
We’ll provide the part, install it, demonstrate or guide you in using it. We won’t leave until you’re happy!
